I figured I should post something in the news section so my layoff notice wouldn't be the first thing in the list. Nothing much new has been happening - I love my new job and my short commute, and I think the new ecommerce solution for silicon mechanics is coming along great - hopefully I'll have something we can make live in the next few weeks (I'd insert some raves about php, but it all just sounds the same - needless to say, I'm very impressed with the versatility of the language and am fast becoming as good at it as I am at perl).
